Le Kangourou by Popinns

I'd give it zero stars if I could.

The pool was clean, but that was the only real positive. The hotel felt abandoned, and there was a horrible smell in the hallways and our room. We were right below bins that looked like they hadn't been emptied. There didn't seem to be any security: people could get in and out through both the emergency exit and the main entrance. We stayed four nights, but no maid came to replace our towels or replenish the soap and shampoo. At reception, we were told maids only come on Wednesdays. We had arrived on a Thursday.

We stayed in a mobile home at the end of August. The home wasn't very clean, and there was no Wi-Fi or activities for children. The pool seemed neglected. On arrival, we were told the holiday village was housing migrants. We had to put up with arguments between them every day and fire alarms going off every night. The view from the other rooms also looked straight onto the pool.

The place was clean, and the swimming pool might be a plus, but the apartments are showing their age. Our sliding glass door wouldn't close properly, so we couldn't open it and put our belongings in the bedroom. It was very hot, and the fan was practically useless. Budget residence.
