The view from the hotel was beautiful, and I really liked the lovely smell throughout the place. Beds were comfortable and the soundproofing was excellent. But some reception staff were unpleasant during their shifts. The phones in two rooms didn't work, and staff wouldn't help us call a taxi or get our luggage from the car. That was disappointing for a hotel of this level.

The location felt like a small village with nursing-home vibes, and getting places took two hours by bus. Breakfast was a depressing spread with nothing remotely decent. Check-in was stressful too: the person at the desk was rude, aggressive, erratic, and went in circles when we asked basic questions. I've never seen such unprofessional behavior. Then there were several charges that hadn't been mentioned when booking, including random service fees and a tax I still don't understand. When I questioned them, staff acted as if I had imagined what the original booking confirmation said. This hotel was a disaster from start to finish, chaotic and a complete ripoff. I left more exhausted than when I arrived. Spend your money somewhere else.

One night was plenty. The windows barely kept birds from flying in and did nothing to block noise. The hotel restaurant had a very bad band playing live music extremely loudly, and it went on past midnight. The sea-view guests who paid extra must have been especially affected. The room was OK, but the bathroom had seen better days, with dark and damp spots. There were no bedsheets, just a tablecloth.

We stayed in the family suite, which was spacious enough and gave the kids their own area. It had a beautiful view over the bay, palm trees, and the bridge, lovely to fall asleep and wake up to. The hotel chain has given me a great experience every time, and I'll keep coming back. Staff at reception were friendly and welcoming, and the service was great. The room was very clean, with new, thoughtfully chosen details. I liked the good range of teas and the set of essential toiletries. Having a separate toilet and bath really helps when traveling as a family. There was water for everyone when we arrived. It was well worth the money.

Lunch worked really well in the meeting room, and both the food and service were excellent. We had booked the space for 40 people; it was a great room, with a sound system built in. I’d definitely recommend it for a business meeting.
