The hosts are lovely, and the cuisine is excellent. They chose to do without guides, rankings and the like, yet three-star Michelin chefs are regulars there. The beautiful property sits among nature, just a short walk from Alsace's main attractions.

The rooms were excellent quality and very clean, and the meals were delicious. It's well placed for exploring the region, but also for taking time to rest. The hosts were lovely, and leaving was the hardest part for us. We'll definitely be back.

There's something magical about this place, and the welcome from Marie-Pierre and Daniel is part of it.

The place, food and hosts were all the best. Marie-Pierre and Daniel were wonderful.

The setting was splendid, peaceful and surrounded by nature, and we had a very warm welcome from a couple who are passionate about their work. We stayed one night in a very comfortable room with excellent bedding. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh homemade products. At "La Pierre d'Eau", the quality of the human connection matters alongside the setting and food. We'll come back to try Daniel's dishes and thank Marie-Pierre for her hospitality. See you soon, Donatien & Lou-Eva.
