We had a wonderfully relaxing, peaceful time in this clean and pleasant cottage. The bedding was excellent, and the little garden was lovely, though the season meant we couldn’t enjoy all the flowers. The owners were welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. It’s in a small village where the shopkeepers are welcoming too. A really lovely experience.

We only stayed one night, but were delighted with our visit. The cottage was spotless, warm, and well equipped, with spacious bedrooms and good quality bedding.

We were here only briefly for a wedding at a nearby venue, but the hosts gave us such a warm welcome. The house is comfortable and well cared for, with everything needed for a longer stay and a lovely garden. I’d highly recommend it.

We spent one night here for a wedding nearby and had a great experience. L’escapade is a lovely, clean, peaceful gîte, yet shops are close by. The owners were very friendly. We were pleasantly surprised and will definitely return in warmer weather to enjoy the charming little garden.

The cottage itself was cozy, very clean, and lovely, with good bedding and an excellent breakfast. Things started off well with the owners, but the service ended on a bad note this morning. We weren’t fully prepared, and they didn’t seem to understand, so we felt awkward and were made to leave. We also had to pay for cleaning, despite only using the cottage from 5:30 am to 11:00 am. Some understanding and empathy would have meant a lot.
