Really calm, and everyone was friendly :)

I got lucky finding this place while cycling from Mannheim to Paris. Everything was booked in Sainte-Menehould and Challons-en-C, so I ended up here by chance. It was super idyllic and beautiful, with a relaxed, peaceful atmosphere and a very nice host, Mr. Clo. For a few quiet days somewhere secluded, it's hard to beat.

The accommodation is a little secluded and wonderfully quiet, in a huge garden, yet not too far from the motorway. Monsieur Clo was kind and entertaining, and spoke excellent German. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortably furnished. He recommended a great place for dinner and even booked it for us. We really enjoyed our stay!

For peace, quiet, and nature, the Wood-fired Oven is just right. Mr. CLO was so kind and welcoming, doing everything he could to make our stay pleasant. The comfortable room and excellent homemade jams made breakfast a treat. We had Mirabelle, very sweet and tasty apple juice, and a delicious baguette with a little butter and jam, enjoyed in the morning sun on the terrace overlooking the park. A stop worth making in this distinctive hamlet, tucked into a green setting. 👍👍👍
