We only ate at the restaurant and didn’t stay at the hotel. The food was phenomenal and the waiters were friendly. When we first tried to book, though, they spoke to us as if we weren’t posh enough after a day out doing tourist things. We still wanted to go, so we booked online, and I’m glad we gave them the chance.

We visited twice in December 2022 and enjoyed both meals a lot. The food is generous, carefully prepared, and delicious, with an interesting wine and spirits list that includes some local highlights. Service was highly professional and efficient, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The dining room feels intimate despite its high ceiling. The decor could be a bit richer and warmer, but that doesn’t affect the main thing, which is the food. One of the best restaurants in Gaillac, highly recommended.

The place is clean, tidy, and well presented, with a swimming pool and hot tub. Staff were friendly and helpful, and it’s suitable for disabled guests. Breakfast was okay, but the other meals were unremarkable. They weren’t expensive for a hotel, but I didn’t feel they were good value, and perhaps the chef could take a cooking course. The wine list was good and the prices average.

Merci encore! We’ve been back to this stylish, calm restaurant many times with family and friends, and have also stayed overnight at the Hotel. Each visit leaves us even more pleased with the service, the bamboo, and the food.
