Le Domaine du Bouchon

We stopped here both going to and coming back from the south of France, and got a fantastic welcome each time. The place is quiet and has an outdoor area, though there are wasps and hornets around. The room is lovely, with its own shower room and toilet. Breakfast is included, and there's a small, fully equipped dining area outside. There's a jacuzzi shared by all the rooms, but you have to request it a few days ahead so they can get it ready, otherwise you can't use it. There are quite a few bugs, especially spiders in the kitchen. The refrigerator is also small and shared, so keep that in mind if you have fresh food to store. They leave brochures to help you explore the region, and there's a small tasting of local products in the kitchen. It works for people with reduced mobility, but not for wheelchair users: there's one step to get into the bedroom and a stop at the kitchen entrance.

The shower is small but manageable, though it takes a long time for the hot water to come through. The breakfast room is beautiful, set in an old bread oven, and has everything you need. It's a good deal for the money. The house is cute, clean, tucked away, and quiet, and the elderly gentleman who runs it is very friendly and clearly loves this lovely spot. Thank you.

It's clean and quiet, though a little rustic. Breakfast was a letdown, just dry or packaged food.

The rooms are simple, but clean, and breakfast was excellent. The house is kept in perfect condition, surrounded by peaceful greenery, and there's a lovely little pool for hot days. There are plenty of activities in the area, too. We got an extremely friendly welcome. Exceptional place, I highly recommend it!
