Hôtel Le Clos

The dinner was a highlight, especially the pastries, and everything was presented beautifully. It’s a really comfortable place to unwind, too. The staff are welcoming, attentive, and happy to help.

The green setting is lovely, and we had a superb dinner. Breakfast was generous, with plenty of choice. We liked the rooms so much that we stayed twice in just ten days. We’d happily come back if we’re ever in Gap again. Florence and Philippe (from Rennes, Brittany)

We only stayed one night, which was about right for us. The staff were professional and really friendly, and the small restaurant terrace was a pleasant spot. The food was very good. The room, though, was awful: far too cramped, with a tiny TV perched on a high cabinet that wasn’t practical to watch. The bathroom was just as small and miserable, and the shower curtain kept sticking to me. The toilet is in there too. Fine for a single night, but I’d look elsewhere for a longer stay.

We only came for a meal, not an overnight stay, and had a lovely evening. The food was refined, with quality ingredients, good flavors, and a nice presentation. Prices felt more than fair for what we got. The decor is a little dated, but the staff were warm and smiling. We really enjoyed dinner and will be back.
