We were heading north after time in southern France and found ourselves treated far better than we expected. The breakfasts were good, and the local hotel served a great evening meal. It’s such a peaceful place too, one of the quietest I’ve stayed in for ages. Only wish we’d had more than one night.
Ester and Jos were so kind and welcoming, and the breakfast was both generous and delicious. Their house is lovely, tucked into a peaceful natural setting. Thanks again for making our stay so special.
Ester's warm welcome and company really added to the stay. The B&B has inspired decor and sits in a stunning, romantic spot. We’d absolutely recommend it, a visit is a must! 😉
After a week of hiking and several B&B stays, Esther and Jose's was our favorite. The room was clean, spacious, and quiet, and they were lovely hosts, welcoming and always on hand. Jose is a former chef, and dinner was delicious. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful, too. They’d even packed treats for hikers like us: gingerbread, dried fruit, and bananas. Thanks again, Esther and Jose. We highly recommend staying here if you're going to Gargilesse-Dampierre.
A lovely spot, with owners who were so friendly and hospitable. Definitely recommend it!
