The hosts were thoughtful and kind, welcoming us with a handwritten note, local wine, and regional sweets. Check-in after 10 p.m. went smoothly thanks to good communication, and we could park for free right at the property. The house was immaculate, well equipped, and clearly new and well cared for. Little details made us feel at home straight away. It’s in a quiet, peaceful spot close to the region’s main attractions, surrounded by nature. We also appreciated the property’s care for the environment and its commitment to sustainability. This was easily our best stay in France, a lovely place to relax in silence. We can’t recommend it highly enough.
There’s direct access to a cycling path leading toward the hills of cape St. Tropez or the beaches. We also liked the large pool, which is suitable for serious swimming. The new cabins are lovely and spacious, set among mediterranean nature, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant is good and reasonably priced for the Côte d'Azur, even exceptional for a camping restaurant. In the morning, you can buy decent baguettes and croissants at fair prices. One small improvement: heating for the very sweet children’s pool, which was too cold for most kids in late September.
It’s a little tucked away, about 15 minutes from Pampelonne and five minutes from plage Gigaro, which is the nicest beach in my opinion. The Mobile Homes are okay, though they could use more equipment, like an iron, and more clothes closets. There’s a small bar and pool on site, and the service is great.
We rode our electric bikes to Saint Tropez, and with the right route it’s a lovely ride that isn’t very hilly. The pool was delightfully warm, though not very clean, perhaps because of the strong winds. The facilities overall leave a lot to be desired: the showers were worn and needed work, and I only discovered that half of them didn’t work after trying them all. The toilets were odd, with a cubicle for each of the Three Bears but only one full-sized toilet, and none of the cubicles had toilet tissue. On our first night, strong winds brought down half a tree. When we called staff at 10.00 pm, they laughed first, which wasn’t the customer service I expected. They did eventually ask if we were okay. Our moho escaped damage, more through luck than judgment. The site also didn’t feel secure, since anyone could get in through the trees. It’s an interesting place, but I’d only stay again if I couldn’t find anywhere else.
This was a dirty, disgusting campsite, with rubbish everywhere. We booked two weeks but left after only a few days. It took until then to get a refund, and once it came through we left immediately. They eventually repaid us, but the amount was far below half of what we’d paid. There were undesirables staying here. I can’t stress enough that people should avoid this terrible place.
