La Bastide D'Antoine

We rented bikes and it was about a 10-minute ride to the center of San Tropez. We also rode to wineries and the beautiful town of Gassin. The concierge, especially Kristine, was incredibly helpful, and our room was very comfortable. All the staff were attentive, kind, and fabulous. My husband and I loved our stay and would come back in a heartbeat.

I’ve never felt so unwelcome or been treated so rudely. When I mentioned that I’d requested an ocean view, ms Christine corrected me in a very condescending way, insisting it was the sea. Then I explained that we’d asked for an upper floor with a better view, both by phone from Toronto before we left and again from Cannes, and had been promised one. She said this was our ground-floor room, they were fully booked, and if we didn’t like it, we could leave and still be charged. It was 7 pm, far from home, and I had nowhere else to go. We’d just come in from a beautiful boat trip from Cannes that my husband and I had really enjoyed, but the welcome from ms Christine turned the evening into a nightmare. I felt like an inconvenience, as if she were doing me a favor by letting me stay. I’m here for three more nights on my first trip to st Tropez, and I’m sure I’ll never come back. The staff came across as rude and self-righteous, with no courtesy or manners. It makes you wonder who hires them 😢

An unbelievable pool with a view, large rooms, and the cutest boutique-style feel. The hotel delivers a 10/10 view and experience in st Tropez, and it’s only a 10-minute drive from the main area.

My car broke down in Milan, so I called and emailed to reschedule my stay. I got no response at all. They kept my money and offered no solution. Terrible customer service.
