La Gassinière

If peace and quiet are what you're after, this is the place. There's so much detail in the rooms, and everything is furnished with love. You can feel it as soon as you stay at la gassiniére. elisabeth & philippe are wonderful hosts. My love and I already miss this special place and hope to come back soon.

We stayed for 10 days in a cozy, well-equipped apartment with a sea view at the end of the garden. The setting is peaceful, but Pampelonne Beach and St. Tropez are only a short drive away, so it was a lovely mix of calm and convenience. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful and made us feel at home. A delightful stay, highly recommended!

The apartment is tucked inside a gated community and opens onto a beautiful patio and yard with umbrellas, loungers, and a table and chairs. We spent most of our time outside, or walked out the back wooden gate and followed a secret path down to the beach. The surrounding Gigaro area is beautiful, with quiet beaches, water sports, and plenty of walks just 350 metres away. There are restaurants and a good local shop nearby, and La Croix-Valmer is a short drive. You feel at home straight away. We were lucky to be the first paying guests at the Gigaro Apartment, a labour of love by Elisabeth & Philippe, who own La Gassiniere. Their artistic influence shows in the little touches throughout. The kitchen is well equipped with a fridge, dishwasher, oven, induction cooktop, and lovely crockery and cutlery. There's a comfortable lounge, though we didn't spend much time in it. The bedroom has beautiful linen, lots of wardrobe space, and air conditioning. There's also a separate air conditioning unit in the lounge and kitchen. The large shower room has a washing machine. They've thought of what you need for a comfortable, relaxing stay. Elisabeth and Philippe were wonderful hosts. Their communication was excellent, they checked in to see how things were going, and they were quick to sort out any small issue. They made the stay that little bit more special.

A lovely little find right in the heart of Gassin's village. The room was comfortable, and the view from the terrace was stunning. Everything was beautiful down to the details, breakfast was delicious, and the owners were so welcoming and friendly. Can't wait to go back!
