Camping La Réserve

The mobile home was comfortable and very clean, and the washing machine was a real bonus. Air conditioning was much appreciated in the very hot weather, and our pitch was quite spacious and in a good spot. Staff were polite and helpful from the moment we arrived, and made us feel welcome. The site is clean and well maintained, with a wonderful pool, a great restaurant, a shop and more. There was plenty to see and do, with some great places to visit. We've booked with Siblu village's before and will do so again. They have wonderful sites around France, and La Reserve is definitely one of them. I'd recommend it with or without children. We liked the mobile home so much that we stayed an extra week. Booked through a booking site, it was the best and most comfortable one we've stayed in, almost like new, very well equipped, with a large, private plot. We visited in September, after most children had gone back to school. At that point in the season, campsites can look worn and staff can be tired, so the level of service and upkeep really pleased us. Everything was clean and cared for, right down to the floral tubs. Pool lifeguards were still attentive and enforced the safety rules several times when people broke them.

We had a fabulous two weeks at La Reserve. The kids loved the kids' club and evening activities, especially the late-night pool party during the heatwave. The cabins were great, the pool brilliant and the beach lovely. The campsite had two major downsides for us. Wi-Fi wasn't usable anywhere, even in the advertised areas or with the premium plan, and phone reception wasn't good enough for 3G or 4G internet either. The restaurant was poor and could be much better with just a little effort.

This was our second family holiday booking, for three weeks in the top caravan, and we were very disappointed with almost everything. The kids didn't enjoy it. The kids' club barely interacted with them because there were only a few English children. On arrival, the beds, dishwasher, decking, BBQ, toilet seat and sofa were broken. The electricity kept cutting out, and we lost €170 worth of meat, chicken and sausages. I called and went to reception several times about the problem. They said someone would come fix it, but it took three days. They didn't apologize or offer any remboursement. We'll never go again 😡 If I could, I wouldn't give them any stars.
