The breakfast was a real highlight, generous, full of choice, and even included bread baked by the owner. We were nine people staying near Gauriac for a wedding night on July 1st, 2023, and everyone was pleased with the accommodation. Our hosts greeted us so warmly, and the rooms and shared bathrooms were very clean. The toilets and showers are near the rooms, both downstairs and upstairs. It’s peaceful right by the Gironde, with parking close by. Thanks to both hosts for everything, and for doing it all with a smile. We’d happily recommend A l'Escale. Nicole and Jean-Paul

There was everything we needed to make evening meals, and breakfast came with delicious pastries. Our hosts made us feel very welcome.

There’s space for as many as 10 people, so it works really well for a family or a group of friends. We were especially pleased with the comfort and the linens provided. Breakfast was delicious, with homemade products, and such a treat to start the day. The owners are attentive and passionate, and made us feel very welcome. I’d recommend staying here for a pleasant, sociable time.
