Le Manoir De La Riviere

Izabel and Geraud make you feel like family, and they even offered us the use of their refrigerator. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, and Izabel checks the cleanliness every day. The house dates from the 1400s, though the bathrooms are very modern. Breakfast each day came with Izabel's homemade bread, cheese, yogurt, compote and sweet tarts. There's a friendly dog, but no cats. The only drawback was the Wi-fi, which doesn't always work. They need to add a repeater in the stairwell or hallway.

There's lots to see and do nearby, with both the coast and countryside. The people running Manoir de la Riviere were very pleasant, and the food was great 👍🏼

The host was fantastic and it's an awesome place. I'm already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended.

The house, with its visible traces of its origins, delighted us. It was comfortably furnished, as was our room, and the beds were really comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean, including the comfortable bathroom. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast with fruit from the garden. Isabelle and Gérard gave us a very warm welcome, and as in 2013, we had a wonderful stay at this beautiful manor. Thank you so much, Isabelle and Gérard. We'll definitely come back.
