The rooms were simple and spotless, with comfortable beds and AC that worked really well. The town is so quiet we ate at the hotel, and that dinner was a real surprise, easily the best fine dining meal I had on my trip in France. Lovely little hotel with a beautiful river view. 10/10, would recommend.

The restaurant has an elegant feel and lovely views, but the prices are high and I didn't think the meal justified them. I'd travelled around France for pleasure for six years, and expected this to be one of the standout meals of my 2018 trip. It wasn't. The food didn't live up to the impression the place gives, and the atmosphere felt too stuffy. A more relaxed feel would help. We stayed three nights in July 2018. Our room was outside the main hotel, and although it had clearly had some work done, it still needed more attention. The tiny balcony looked out onto a gorgeous view, and the AC worked well. The bathroom, doors, and painted walls all badly needed updating.

After a long day exploring, we loved coming back to this hotel and restaurant. There are good activities nearby, and the restaurant terrace has lovely views. The food was superbly prepared, with a set menu offering three choices. Just remember the kitchen opens at 8 pm.

The hotel could use a facelift, it feels a little tired, though those splendid views almost made up for it. Dinner was very good and inventive, with exciting flavors, and the attentive sommelier suggested excellent wines.

The food was very good, but I waited more than 45 minutes between the starter and main course. I said that wasn't acceptable, and the problem was fixed. Nobody explained what had happened.
