Hotel la Réserve

Breakfast had lots of variety, apart from vegetables. The staff were very friendly, and our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a view of the lake, a good bed, and a large wardrobe. We had a very pleasant stay and I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

The owner welcomed us warmly and knows the area well, including plenty of great places to eat, so don't hesitate to ask. Our room looked out over the lake, and the hotel was beautiful. The decor is simple but elegant, everything was very clean, and all the amenities we needed were there. Thanks for a great séjour !!

We spent two nights here while skiing in Gerardmer. The hotel was easy to find on the main road into town, with plenty of parking on either side and a strip of bars and restaurants next door. Check-in was straightforward, and breakfast was optional. We chose a deluxe room with a lake view, and both the view and the room were amazing. There was lots of storage to keep our things out of the way, and the bed was large enough for three. The mattress was really good, and we slept well both nights. There was a coffee maker in the room, and a microwave down the hall, which saved us from buying dinner one night. The bathroom was very large, with a spa bath. It had a shower head, but no curtain or screen, and the shower wasn't fixed to the wall. Breakfast was a traditional French buffet. Eggs were the only hot food, but it kept me full until lunch. Thanks to all the Gerardmer staff.

So comfortable! The sheets, beds, pillows and towels all made it feel like a 5 star hotel. The rooms may be small, but they've got everything you need. We had a great stay!
