Le Grand Hotel Spa et son Chalet

The Grand Hotel & Spa brings together a lovely natural setting, a warm family run feel, and refined hospitality. Gérardmer is often called Little Quebec for its scenery and crisp air, even in summer, and the hotel makes for a relaxing escape in the heart of town. Its spa is a real haven, with beautiful indoor and outdoor pools to enjoy any time of year. The hotel also has two very different dining experiences: a friendly, convivial bistro, L’Assiette du Coq à l’Âne, and the more refined Le Petrus restaurant, whose cellar holds thousands of wine references. Both celebrate local flavors and French savoir-faire. There’s a lively energy here alongside a sense of timeless elegance, and so much care in the details. A genuine expression of French hospitality.

We felt right at home thanks to the attentive, friendly staff. The spa is beautifully designed, and the dining options were delightful. Throughout our stay, everything seemed thoughtfully arranged for comfort and enjoyment. Le Grand Hôtel & Spa et son Chalet has a warm, elegant style that still feels cosy. A lovely place to unwind in the heart of the Vosges, and one I’d highly recommend.

The pool and spa are the best we’ve come across at any hotel, with large pools, a sauna, and clean spaces. The rooms are spacious and cosy, and the kids love the game room. It’s our family’s favourite holiday hotel, especially for Christmas or New Year, when the decorations and party atmosphere are wonderful. Both restaurants serve great food, and the staff go out of their way to help us feel at home. And we can’t forget Felix the cat, who greets us every year. Thanks to the whole team for making each holiday stay so special!

We spent three days here and had a clean, spacious room. There are two restaurants serving dinner, plus a pool and spa and wellness area. The surroundings are lovely if you like water sports or walking. I’d recommend the hotel for its service, kind staff, and the luxury Le Grand Hôtel & Spa Gérardmer offers.
