I was charged the full price for a hotel I couldn't even see, let alone reach. I was due to check in in July, but on the day, roads to the hotel were closed for the Tour de France. Officers told me they wouldn't reopen them until the next day. When I explained I had a hotel up there, they said that was too bad and I should find somewhere else to stay. I called the hotel and was told to try again after 5pm. I did, and they told me to call later again. On my third call, nobody picked up. I left a voicemail and sent the property a message, but still haven't heard back. Looking through my emails, I found no warning about access being affected or instructions for getting there after that day's stage. I'm extremely disappointed by the lack of communication and customer service.

The paving outside is in a dangerous state and needs urgent attention. Inside, the clean T2/6 apartment worked well for our family of four, though it could use more cupboard space.

The pool and sauna are a plus, and the apartments are pleasant and well situated. The equipment could do with an update, though. The heating is like having toasters running, leaving the air very dry and unpleasant, and the old vacuum cleaner doesn't pick anything up.

We've been residents at the Nemea residence in Peyragudes for more than 10 years, and recently moved to the Goelia group in 2026. The location and size of the apartments are still excellent, but they're showing their age. The reception team is friendly, though understaffed. Some modernization and fresh decor would be welcome. The bathroom tiles, extractor hoods, some beds, and cooktops that trip the electricity meter all need attention. It would also help to have more children's beds in the bedrooms, so families don't have to rely on the sofa bed. Maybe that's a future project for the new group.
