We appreciated the view and the residence's location near activities, summer hiking trails, and the nearby bakery. Reception hours weren't always convenient, but staff were easy to reach by phone, and you can call before arrival for more information. The refrigerators were another issue: except in the apartments for 10, there was only about half a studio-sized fridge for six people in an apartment that sleeps eight. If you're in a group, remember the sofa bed counts toward the bed total, and there's a bunk bed in the hallway. For bedrooms with doors, book somewhere bigger than your group. Our first week was difficult. A water heater leaked and wasn't fixed, supposedly because all the local plumbers were on vacation, so we spent the whole week with our feet in water. A shutter came loose too, which meant we couldn't ventilate the flooded bedroom. Those problems lasted from arrival until the end of the week. We couldn't find other accommodation, so we had to put up with the flooding and smell and spent a few nights away at our own expense. Thankfully, the manager found us another place for the second week, with an upgrade as a goodwill gesture. That made the end of our holiday a little better. The big problem was having to endure the first week without immediate alternative accommodation.

Even with so many accommodations, it stays really quiet, and there are shops nearby. It’s a perfect summer spot for nature lovers. Pets are welcome, and the staff are friendly and quick to respond.
