There are lots of wooden games, board games, and reading material here, handy for relaxing or waiting out bad weather. The setting is perfect, with a pleasant rustic feel and a genuinely charming building. The manager is friendly and gives good advice. Breakfast is included and very good, and there are facilities for guests with reduced mobility. I highly recommend it.

It feels like home here, with a lovely change of scenery and such peaceful, serene moments. The house is charming, very pleasant, and impeccably maintained, with a warm welcome and excellent hospitality. Breakfasts are lavish, with plenty of choices. There are walks and activities within an hour or less, between the Puy de Dôme and the Creuse.

Our hostess knows the region inside out and gave us excellent tips for our walks. Mrs. Perrin really goes out of her way to make us feel welcome. Breakfast was generous and delicious, with lots of homemade jams and pastries.
