Brit Hotel Confort Gien

The view over the Loire and the château is what I’ll remember most. It’s a peaceful place with very good value, and I’d gladly recommend it. We found the rooms spotless, and the welcome from the staff was both warm and professional. A lovely stay at the Brit Hotel de Gien.

The conversations with Élodie and Abi made time disappear. At breakfast with Abi, we talked about life, esotericism, stones and their energy, quantum physics, geophysics, astronomy, astrophysics, and plenty of other things that inspire me. The breakfast felt almost timeless. I ended up at the Brit Hotel in Gien after a traffic accident, and it turned out to be a blessing. Élodie greeted me with such warmth that I won't forget it. She offered me pizza, and it was so good I happily ate it without cutlery, like a kid enjoying every bite. My room was spotless, and the hotel was impeccably clean, with all the little details looked after by people you hardly see. I was surprised to find a gym, too, and the place had a kind of magic to it that makes me want to come back. Everyone, whether visible or working behind the scenes, helped create an exceptional human experience. This stay felt guided by destiny and gave me a haven of warmth and excellence. Thank you, Élodie, Abi, and the soul of this unique hotel.

We’ve just spent a stay here and really liked the kindness of everyone, from reception to the housekeeping staff. There’s secure parking at the back, and the hotel looks out over a lovely view of Gien. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was adequate. Highly recommend it.

We really valued the parking: the car sits behind a closed roller shutter in a large enclosed courtyard. The hotel exterior could use some updating, though. For a simple place, the price and quality are excellent. The bedroom was clean, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom and toilet had been renovated since our stay four years ago. Breakfast was straightforward but plentiful and tasty, with the expected things in the fridge and plenty of sweets.
