That canopy bed really made the room, with its lovely drapes and furniture. The whole inn felt beautifully put together, from the linens and china to the views and food, and the staff were attentive and very professional. We hadn't noticed dinner needed to be reserved, but they still served us a delicious meal with very good wine. Breakfast this morning was fine, and the omelet was the best I've ever had.

Tea and sweets in the drawing room, with the countryside in view, made a lovely end to our meal. We stopped in on a whim for Valentine's Day lunch, and the €45 four-course menu was elegant and tasty. The staff were marvelously friendly, and the dessert was incredible. We enjoyed the two Flocs we tried, too. The foie gras starter offered four types, and the langostine course was lovely. The pigeon was moist and tasty, though I wished there were more vegetables to make it last longer. The only small tweak I'd suggest is cooking the scallops a little less. It's a beautiful, enormous country house-hotel. We'll come back and try the €15 lunch menu. Wonderful!

We tried the three-course express menu, or plat du jour, for €15 and thought it was very good value. Good food, great staff, and a lovely setting.

Interesting location, but the food was very poor.
