L'Orchidee is in a fairly central spot in the old part of the village, just a short walk from the Canal du Midi. The Chambre d'hote feels welcoming and has traditional French furnishings. Breakfast is continental, with locally sourced food. There's a lovely roof terrace for relaxing in the sun, plus a solarium where you can make coffee or buy an alcoholic drink.

The meal in the dining room was really good, with quality ingredients, and breakfast had plenty of choice. The pastries were especially nice. We also enjoyed our long chats with Margaret and how helpful she was. She took great care of us and is a wonderful person. Our stay was pleasant, just much too short for us, and her establishment deserves to be better known.
