Leo and Milka were so kind and generous. After a long day hiking, their Gîte felt like an oasis. Leo made all the food himself, and it was great. One of our best stays on the Camino St Jacques. Exceptional.

The sleeping space was private and really clean, and the sheets smelled wonderful. The pilgrim meals were tasty and a lot of fun. Leo was one of the best hosts I’ve had in three years of caminos. He has a quiet, calming way about him that made us feel at home. I highly recommend it.

After the climb up from Estaing, seeing Lo Soulenquo felt like an answer to a prayer. A very welcome stop and a wonderful stay on the Le Puy Camino.

Leo has such a gentle, calm way about him, and he’s an incredible host. He gave us fantastic advice for the chemin and made amazing dinner and breakfast. The rooms were clean and comfortable too. A wonderful gîte with real soul and Camino energy, just the place to rest tired pilgrim legs and fill your pilgrim heart 🤍

Leo’s accent from the right side of Leman lake was instantly recognizable. Since we came from the other side, we found that funny. We had a separate room in the main house, and it was very quiet. Dinner was excellent, and Leo told us about the pilgrim cake and a variant route to Conques via the GR6. It’s a nice place to rest, especially after the long uphill walk from Estaing.
