Camping des Sources

Large pitches and a good amount of privacy made this a very clean campsite with everything you need, and more. It’s just outside the village of Gordes, which is easy to reach on foot. A beautiful campsite in a perfect location, definitely recommend visiting Gordes 👌🏼

The croissants were extremely delicious, very French, and Gordes is a 25 minute walk away. Try the larger sanitary block, which has a baby bathing tub. We only found that out quite late. 😭 Our camping pitch, B30?, was too close to a wooden House, so we barely had any privacy. The swimming pool was a bit dirty too. We arrived in June and it was already full, with dirt visible at the bottom, which wasn’t pleasant.

A lovely campsite high in the hills above Gordes, with a beautiful pitch and sanitary facilities that were always clean. Gordes is a 15-20 minute walk downhill, with plenty of restaurants and scenic views of the town. I can only recommend it.

The new washrooms are modern, with lovely showers, and there’s a pool, a pleasant reception area with free Wi-Fi, and a good view from the front pitches. Gordes is a pretty town and worth the walk, especially in spring when everything is green and blooming. But the area around the new washroom block was a major construction site, with loud noise and hazards around, particularly worrying for children. We were assigned a pitch right beside it without being told; if we’d known, we could have chosen another. Some pitches are cramped and overgrown, and the steep ground is another challenge with kids. It’s fine for a night or two, though the staff could be friendlier and more helpful.
