Our only real positive was the location. We stayed for four nights in September, and the overall experience was poor. Our “Deluxe Or des Sauges” room was infested with millipedes. We had to remove 5-10 every day, and found them by the bed, in the bathtub, high on the walls, and elsewhere. Knowing they were crawling around while we slept did not feel like a five-star experience. Reception sent workers to inspect, but that didn’t solve it. Even setting the worms aside, the rooms and facilities felt dated, the service was cold, and breakfast and room service were far below standard. This didn’t feel like a five-star hotel.

A nice spa hotel in a beautiful setting. We didn’t use the spa services, which seemed overpriced even for the area. Breakfast was good. We ate dinner there once, but didn’t care for it: it felt too stuffy and the menu choices were very limited.

The restaurant was easily the best part of our stay. My husband and I had one of the best culinary experiences we’ve ever had, and they were very accommodating with allergies. I’d recommend having dinner there every night of your stay.

We ate at the restaurant, but they wouldn’t accommodate special dietary needs. We had arranged things ahead of time, yet food allergies seemed like a huge inconvenience to them. The waiter was rude and clearly annoyed by our request. We weren’t given menus, had to ask for bread, and had to track down staff when we wanted drinks. Most upsetting was how disdainfully and arrogantly they treated paying customers. It spoiled our stay. Unacceptable. Avoid it.

The rooms are high quality, and the location is very beautiful. Everyone was welcoming, and the views from the pool and at breakfast are amazing. Drive slowly in the car park so you don’t scrape the underside of your car.
