Les Rapieres Mireio

We left without staying and still have not received a refund for our four-night booking, despite Booking.com being unable to reach the manager. The apartment smelled of chemical cleaners and was in poor condition, with stains on the bed. We’ve stayed in hostels in places we expected to be much worse, but this was the worst condition I’ve encountered anywhere, especially because mouse droppings were found in the area where an infant would sleep. I’d requested a crib almost two months beforehand, but none was there when we arrived. One was brought over and looked dirty. As we were taking it out of its bag to assemble ourselves, I saw several mouse droppings inside. I told the manager we couldn’t stay and explained why. He said the other house had a baby and was using the other crib, as though that excused forgetting my request and the health concern. We said we needed to find somewhere else and asked for a full refund. Two hours later he messaged to say they’d found another crib. We wouldn’t use it after seeing the droppings, since that made us think the building itself was dirty too.

Alban was really friendly and ready to help with whatever we needed. The apartment was modern and cozy, and even had a jacuzzi. By the pool, the view was amazing and the water was just the right temperature. A lovely place for a nature-filled vacation. I’d definitely come back! :)

A peaceful setting and a great location made this a lovely place for a relaxing holiday. If you’re after a real French experience, you’ll be thrilled to stay here.

This is a romantic, authentic-feeling hideaway. Our one-bedroom house had its own jacuzzi, and the peaceful setting and beautiful views were lovely. A good choice if you like being close to nature.
