The one bright spot was the woman at reception. She was courteous, helped me arrange a taxi, and clearly explained where I could find somewhere for dinner. Seeing her at the desk late at night and then back in the morning cleaning rooms made me feel sorry for her. It seemed like she was the only person working there. The stay itself was awful: my room smelled bad, felt very unwelcoming, and the hotel's cleanliness seemed below even a basic standard, whatever the low price. I had a terrible experience and won't return.

My room was ready by 2 pm, which worked perfectly, and it had been cleaned very well. The cleaner was really polite too. Sound carried through the walls, though, so the room wasn't soundproof. I'd still stay here again ☺️☺️

The beds were neatly made, and getting checked in was really easy. It was just what we needed for a rest on our drive across France, especially for the price.

The rooms have a quirky feel but are simple and clean. The showers were really good. Nothing to complain about.

The surrounding trees make this Brest Kergaradec B and b stand out, which is unusual for the chain. We've found it to be one of the best B and b places we've stayed at, with friendly, helpful staff.
