Chambres Lougolin

It’s a very good place to stay, though it isn’t a hotel in the traditional sense. Our room was spacious and clean, and the air conditioning was a real bonus. The bright bathroom, finished in travertine, was pleasant too. We could enjoy the southeastern scenery by day and at night from the room. Parking can be tricky if you arrive while the ground floor restaurant is open, since its lot fills up. You may need to leave the car by the nearby roundabout and walk up a fairly steep hill along the main road.

We stayed in the Mimosa room, which had an extra bed for our little one, and it worked well for a couple with a child. The restaurant serves gourmet food at affordable prices, with meals suited to children. From its terrace there are magnificent panoramic views, and there’s a small, safe playground right beside it. The welcome was warm and the service excellent. The hotel sits on a hill in a quiet area and has a huge parking lot. We left very happy and satisfied.

The room itself was very nice, and the spa setup is a good idea when it works. I paid 95 euros for a room with a jacuzzi, but was cold all night because the reversible air conditioning wouldn’t heat the room. There wasn’t even a trash can. We got hot water at 8 p.m., then none at all, and couldn’t get any the next morning either. I was really disappointed.

Loved it! Clean, beautiful room and an amazing view 😍
