Les Petites Terrasses

We loved being able to walk into Grasse, then return in the evening to a peaceful place with a garden and Tulipe the cat for company. Back in New Zealand now, we’ve got very happy memories of our visit. Thank you, François and Corinne. Our fragrant room was restful, with a luxurious bathroom, a patio, and a spectacular view. François served breakfast in the garden, with a different delicious homemade jam each day. The Irish strawberry tree (arbutus unedo) jam was especially unusual and interesting. One evening, he cooked us a perfect dinner: four tasty, imaginative courses, thoughtfully chosen and beautifully presented under the trees. It felt quite magical.

Breakfast in the garden was easily the best part of our stay, and the owner was so friendly and kind. There’s a great pool too. Our room was fairly large, with a pool view and a fantastic look toward the ocean if you leaned out the window. The garden and views are wonderful. It’s a hidden gem close to the city center, about a 15-minute walk to the busy area. Absolutely recommend!

We were here for two nights at the end of May. The food is excellent and good value, with François making almost everything himself. It’s a charming, quality chambre d'hôte, with a lovely terraced garden and great views over the bay of Cannes. Service is discreet but attentive, and you can easily walk to the old center of Grasse.

Breakfast on the terrace was such a calm way to start each day, and the meals François cooked were thoughtful, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Calling them five-star Michelin-worthy isn’t an exaggeration. The grounds are carefully maintained and add to the peaceful feel, and their sweet cat was an extra delight. Les Petites Terrasses was comfortable, calm, and relaxing from the start. In-room coffee and tea, convenient parking for a rental car, and an easy walk into Grasse for shopping, restaurants, museums, and perfume made things simple. If you’re looking for somewhere special in Grasse, this is it.
