The shared breakfast table was one of the nicest parts of staying at Lou Candelou. Boon serves a beautifully prepared breakfast each morning, and we got to chat with two lovely couples, one from Italy and one from France. There’s also the option to have breakfast more privately if you’d rather start the day quietly. Boon is kind, attentive, and clearly passionate about making guests feel at home. His knowledge of the area and care for everything really set the place apart. We stayed in the Soleil room, which was bright, tastefully decorated, spotless, and restful. The thoughtful details gave it an authentic, charming feel. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and looked after. The stay exceeded our expectations in every way, and we’d wholeheartedly recommend Lou Candelou for comfort, warmth, and authentic French charm. We hope to return one day.

The host was welcoming and attentive, and breakfast on the outdoor terrace was great. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the location came with a very beautiful view.

The owner is really friendly and helpful, and makes a great breakfast. We had a great stay, though you do need a car to get anywhere.

The terrace breakfasts and the host were lovely. This B&B has been around a while, but it’s cozy, very clean, and well cared for. We’d definitely stay again if we’re in the area.

A really cozy B&B, with a simple but very good breakfast: fresh baguette, homemade jam, croissant, juice, and coffee. The owner was lovely and helpful, and speaks perfect English. One last useful thing, there’s a nearby pizzeria that delivers to the address, so if you arrive late like we did, getting something to eat is easy.
