Greet Hotel Grenoble Centre Gare

The hotel is well placed between the train station and the old town, and the receptionists were very friendly. We still couldn’t stay the night: after lying down in the evening, we found bedbugs crawling around us. I killed a couple, then found more as we checked the pillows and sheets. We fled to a nice hotel across the street that cost the same. We understood that reception couldn’t issue a refund. I emailed the person responsible for this branch and got a reply saying no bedbugs had been found, even though I’d attached photos and videos. If you run into the same problem, don’t expect a refund or even an apology from those responsible.

Everyone on staff was welcoming and friendly, and I enjoyed my stay. The hotel is comfortable and conveniently situated near the train station, with the old city of Grenoble an easy walk away. I hope to visit again one day.

Grenoble is really nice, and we’ll definitely come back. The staff were amazing, our room was big and clean, and breakfast was delicious. Thanks so much for everything!

The room was clean and the staff were friendly, even helping carry our suitcases up the stairs because the elevator wasn’t working. That’s about all I can say in its favor. You can hear people talking in the next room and doors slamming, and the stairwell is dirty. From what I’ve read, the elevator has been out of service for a while. I’d avoid staying here. It’s definitely a two star hotel.
