Aloasis

It was fine.

The hosts made the stay especially lovely: Françoise and Patrick were so welcoming, charming, and always ready with useful tips on places to visit and restaurants. We spent 12 nights at Aloasis and would happily come back. The setting is beautiful, with a peaceful feel and a lovely view across the bay. There’s an infinity pool, and breakfast was both delicious and generous. Our room was spacious and well equipped, and the private parking felt secure. A wonderful holiday on the Gulf of St. Tropez. We had a fantastic week at the end of June 2021, with only a few other guests around, which gave the place a family feel. Françoise and her husband shared lots of helpful recommendations. The garden was lush and gorgeous, with a pool at its center, hammocks and loungers just steps from the room terrace. In the evenings, the bar was open. Our room had a kitchenette and a table, handy for takeaway, and breakfast was served on a covered terrace.

The meals made by the cook were delicious, and I say that as a local. Breakfast was complete, the room was spotless, and the bed was made up to luxury hotel standards. Even with springlike temperatures, we could swim in the heated pool and unwind in the jacuzzi. Françoise and Patrick were generous, dedicated hosts who did everything they could to make us feel special. They have an international background, and our conversations with them were incredibly enriching. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return.
