Cosy Tropez, la Petite Venise, Port-Grimaud

Our room faced the market square and was compact, but had everything we needed. The balcony had a table and chairs, so we could sit and watch the world go by. The hotel’s stylish, modern furnishings still felt very French. The staff were friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. Crisp white sheets, bathrobes, slippers, Occitaine toiletries, and an iron arrived within minutes of asking. The air conditioning worked brilliantly. Coffee and tea, a corkscrew, wine glasses, everything was right there, and breakfast was very good too. We appreciated the discounted parking and how easy it was to access. Highly recommend.

We stayed in a studio with a balcony and lovely views. It had a small equipped kitchen and a coffee machine, and the bed was comfortable. Hôtel Suffren sits in the centre of Port Grimaud, a beautiful town often called the “Venice of Provence.” The building is old, but has plenty of charm. Parking was no problem, and everything matched the hotel’s description. We didn’t try breakfast, so I can’t comment on that. I’d stay here again.

We came in October, when the whole area was very quiet, which we liked. The hotel was nice and the service friendly. We stayed one night and could easily have added a few more while visiting places nearby, though Port Grimaud itself can be seen in a day or two.

The location is unbeatable, and the service was outstanding. There was a small problem with our original room, but the staff quickly moved us to an upgraded room, gave us the first night free, and charged a very fair rate for the rest. Laurent, Cherine, and Celine went out of their way to help, from hotel needs to arranging activities and excursions. Their hospitality made the stay exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel.
