The food, service, and location were all great, and we had a really good time. The rooms were good too, though there isn’t much bedroom storage. There was one small closet with just one shelf above the hanging space, so even though we packed quite light, we had to get creative. It has Club Med vibes, with some differences but a lot of similarities to what Club Med was like decades ago. This place is a real gem, and we’ll likely go back. My daughter is already asking us to, even though we were just there a few weeks ago. Just keep in mind it’s a high-end camping resort, not a luxury hotel.

We loved how welcoming Prairie de la Mer felt from the moment we arrived. Even the small gestures at check-in and when we left made us feel thought of, and we’ll remember them. There’s plenty to do without leaving: restaurants, shops, activities, and a gorgeous beach. The place is spotless and well cared for, including the accommodation, pools, and gardens. Our children settled in straight away, too. A really lovely family holiday, and we’re already hoping to come back.

The only small drawback was the sand and loose gravel underfoot, which got dusty when it was windy. Everything else made for a brilliant family holiday. Cabin 104 was in a lovely spot, near the beach, supermarket, and entertainment, with only a short walk to the pool. The setting is beautiful, and the staff were so friendly. We especially liked the little extras: a local breakfast bag the first morning, water and rosé in the fridge, and a departure bag. The pool was fantastic and the bar music each evening was great. We loved our stay and would absolutely recommend it.

Port Grimaud is just a short walk away, and the location worked really well for us. The staff were warm and welcoming, always smiling. We also loved Tangerine, and the food and drinks at the on-site restaurants were delicious. The beach and pool were pristine, and I didn’t spot any litter. With palms and Polynesian plants all around, the place has a tropical feel. It felt more like a glamorous lodge holiday than a campsite. I had a very relaxing spa visit, too, and the facilities were high quality. We’ve recommended it to everyone and will definitely return.

We come back every year and still don’t get bored. Everything’s great, and the kitchen is fully stocked. I love it here!
