Pierre & Vacances Résidence Les Parcs de Grimaud

The apartments are well equipped and have a balcony or terrace, and there’s a pool area where families can play and relax. The resort is well maintained, with a lovely garden and a small golf course. It’s quiet, close to both the beach and Port Grimaud. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Our room wasn’t ready until 7pm, even though we arrived at 5. We’d paid 300 euros upfront for one night, then they demanded a 200 euro deposit. I explained that I live overseas and a 200 euro hold on my card would mess up my holiday, but they insisted and I had no choice. The room was average at best, with blood on the curtain and ceiling and a punch mark in the plasterboard wall. The pool is tiny, and security wouldn’t let us take unopened food there. We had to walk back and put it in that blood-drenched, vandalised room. If you’re thinking of booking, look across the road. There’s a nice place with similar facilities at a fraction of the price. I’ll NEVER return. They treated us like criminals just for staying in a place that looked like only a criminal would stay there, while charging a fortune.

It’s a lovely place to relax. The complex is huge, but even when every room is occupied you don’t really feel the crowds. It stays quiet and peaceful, and we could always find sunbeds at the pool. The gardens, plants, and trees make the surroundings beautiful. The walk to the beach can be about 1 km, depending on which house you’re in. That might be an issue, but the route goes along a lovely avenue of palm trees and flowering trees, and the beach is awesome, so the distance didn’t bother us much. The rooms are a bit small; there were five of us, but we got used to it quickly. We had a nice terrace and a very well equipped kitchen. There’s no air conditioning in the rooms. Fortunately, temperatures in July were quite reasonable, without much heat, so we managed somehow. I definitely recommend this hotel. It’s a great base for seeing beautiful places in France.
