Hon-ty

We really enjoyed hearing Jean-Pierre talk about his island, and he was incredibly kind throughout our fabulous weekend. The house is very well situated, and the bedrooms and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was hearty and delicious. The kitchen, dining room and garden could use a good clean, though. Jean-Pierre lives alone and has some health problems, so it probably isn't easy for him to keep up with everything. We'll definitely return. Karine, Stéphane, Karine, and Louis Gilles

The price is unbeatable on the island, and breakfast for 7 euros was plentiful and nicely presented. The host was very welcoming, and the room and bathroom were clean. The house is in a great location, though the garden is neglected and needs both upkeep and an update. The house itself needs a good cleaning, too. This kind gentleman is on his own and could surely use help with those chores. Thanks to him, and best of luck this season!

Jean-Pierre was very friendly, and my room was clean, quiet, and looked out onto the garden. The cottage is pleasant and well placed, about 1 km from the port, a good base for a few days in Groix. Breakfast is all you can eat, just right before a day of hiking. Thank you.

We booked in February 2023 for August, but a problem with the booking website led to our reservation being canceled without warning. We found out two hours later and called the owner right away, hoping to keep our stay. He'd already rebooked the room and made no effort at all to find a solution, even though the website was his. We'd paid over a hundred euros for a boat for two, and with less than 72 hours to go, we were left facing a packed island in mid-August with nowhere available to stay. Best plan your trip well in advance... Thanks again to the manager for doing nothing and being unable to handle a difficult situation!!!!!!
