The swimming pool was lovely, and the countryside around it is just beautiful. There are rolling fields and lots of wildlife, especially birds if you’re into spotting different species. Mark was a great host. If you’re looking for peace and quiet and a chance to get away from it all, I’d recommend this place.

We liked this small campsite enough to come back on our return from Spain. It works well for an overnight stop since it’s close to the N10, but there are also plenty of walks and cycling routes nearby for a longer stay. The facilities were great, and the owner was lovely. The pool is open in season. As we were leaving, Ushka? came over to see us despite the rain. She’s a beautiful dog. We’ll definitely return when we’re in the area.

We stopped here on the way from the UK to Spain and it was just right. The van pitch is gravel in winter, and the bathroom was warm and clean. Highly recommend.

Small, intimate, clean, and well looked after, this is exactly the sort of site we look for. The area was peaceful, and Mark gave us a genuine welcome when we arrived. He was a really good host and shared useful information about the area, including a great local English pub where the food was good. We went there a few times. We also visited a local cake shop called 'gateau and bought and ate lots of lovely cakes. I honestly can’t fault the site. We’ll be back, 200%. Thanks for a great stay.
