La Planque

Gruissan is a pretty town, and the apartment's location is good, but the heat made it impossible to sleep there in summer. It was over 30 degrees inside, so at 12:30 a.m. we had to find a hotel. We had the air conditioning on full blast and the window open, but couldn't get the temperature down. The unit by the bed at the bottom of the room only blew hot air and didn't work. The listing says the apartment has air conditioning, which made this especially disappointing.

I came back for a second visit because I was so happy with my 2018 stay. The people here are welcoming, down-to-earth, kind and discreet. The rooms are simple and lovely, and it's a truly charming guesthouse. Thank you, Nathalie and your husband. Hope to see you again very soon ☺️

Breakfast was plentiful and made with good quality products, including croissants, good bread and freshly squeezed orange juice. We liked the comfortable bedding and the lovely view from our room. The rooms have just been renovated, with a romantic Mediterranean style, and the owners were friendly and accommodating. We stayed one night, and it was a great place.

Shops and restaurants are very close to La Planque, which is a lovely old bed and breakfast on a quiet street right in the heart of Gruissan village. Guillaume was warm and friendly, and the rooms were clean and lovely. Breakfast is included in the room price, with a generous variety. You can't park in front of the building, but there are free parking lots nearby. Good value for money, and I recommend it.
