La Maison aux Chimères

We had a really friendly, attentive welcome during our three nights in the Bohemian room in Guéhenno. The room was comfortable and decorated with great taste, and breakfast was amazing, with homemade things. Fantastic stay!

The owners were incredibly kind, and everything else we experienced was just as enjoyable, from the rooms to breakfast. We were a little unsure what to expect because the owners had changed since our first visit to Les Chimères, but it turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. This was our second stay.

The new owner was so welcoming and helpful, with plenty of nearby activities and places to visit if you ask. We appreciated the garden relaxation area and the one in the former wine press room, where you can also eat if you don't want to dine in your room or outside. Breakfast was generous and varied, and the bedding was excellent. The yachting room was magnificent, spacious and tastefully decorated. We stayed for a week last year and came back this summer. Thank you for the hospitality, we’ll return. Under new ownership since June 2022.

The rolling countryside around the village of Guéhenno is lovely for walks, and the bed and breakfast is a great place to unwind. The hosts are very welcoming, and everything feels warm and very well cared for.
