My godmother was knocked down by two dogs coming out of the restaurant on her way to the dining room. She fell and broke her hip and wrist. Accidents happen, but the staff’s lack of concern was shocking. My mother had to push for an ambulance, and the two elderly women were left waiting at the back of the dining room without anyone checking on them. They’ve known each other since kindergarten and were celebrating their joint birthday. I consider this negligence. Caring for customers should come first here, but it felt like it was nowhere near a priority.

The hotel and grounds are beautiful, and I think the owner means well. He seemed stretched too thin and understaffed, though. For me, customer service fell short, while it looked like the dining patrons were getting most of the attention.

We had a lovely evening and would happily come back. Florian recommended the place, and Emeric and I were pleasantly surprised by what we found. The dishes were inspired by Italian cuisine, with fresh ingredients, careful cooking, lovely presentation, and wine pairings that worked well. Seeing the chef and team through the partial kitchen view added to the authentic feel. The hostess was warm, elegant, and attentive. The old building has been renovated with great taste, and its understated, contemporary decor brings out the character of the house. The young owners’ work is remarkable, and their passion comes through. Congratulations to them and the whole staff for the quality of their work and the atmosphere they’ve created. The location adds to the charm, and I honestly have no complaints. The food was delicious, with plenty of flavor and beautiful presentation. Service was pleasant, attentive, and professional, which made the experience even better. I highly recommend it.
