The people were nice, and the hotel was very cheap. Dinner wasn't that good, but it was a good place to stay for one night. No regrets.

The waitress kept trying to get more money by raising my bill. The room was cold and stank, and the restaurant was very basic.

The place still feels authentic and unique, and when we stayed last year we had no complaints. This time, dinner was good and inexpensive, but breakfast was very meager. There weren't enough toppings or eggs for the number of people eating, and they weren't properly replenished. Our room had a much-too-low bed with an incredibly soft mattress. The shower head was quite calcified, and water sprayed from where the hose connected. The rooms also cost considerably more than last year.

The beds are comfortable, and the rooms and bathrooms are clean with no unpleasant surprises. It's easy to get to, there's plenty of parking, and the welcome is friendly. You can tell it used to be a working farm. It isn't modern or old-fashioned, just very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner are very good, even excellent, and appetizers are unlimited depending on the price. The staff are attentive. It's next to the highway, but well insulated from the noise. The smell varies in intensity depending on the occupants, though it isn't bothersome, and prices are reasonable. I recommend this hotel/restaurant. :) This is based on no other reviews. It's still a 2-star establishment, so don't expect too much.
