Fare Bambou

Hilde was a wonderfully kind and helpful host. Whenever we wanted advice, she was there for us, and her suggestions always suited what we were looking for. It was a big help that she also made reservations for us. We spent two lovely weeks in the peaceful retreat of Hilde and Yann. The apartment is furnished with style and taste, and has everything needed for a relaxing holiday. Thank you so much!

Hilde made us feel so welcome at Fare Bambou, always smiling and attentive. The homemade breakfasts were divine and served with care. We spent four wonderful, restorative days there. Our room was pretty and tastefully decorated, and the terrace among the lush plants felt like a peaceful hideaway. We’d gladly return and recommend it without hesitation.

We loved having breakfast on the terrace, and the portions were generous. Hilde was attentive, always ready with advice or a friendly chat. The location made it easy to explore Arcachon Bay without a car, using the available bikes or the trains and buses, which were incredibly affordable. We spent three lovely days at Hilde’s. Treat yourself to this peaceful escape and listen to the birds.

The outdoor area, with its terrace and jacuzzi, is such a relaxing spot, and there are bicycles for exploring nearby. Inside, the room is spacious, tastefully decorated, and has plenty of storage in both the bedroom and bathroom. The bedding is very comfortable, and the kitchen is fully equipped. Hilde shared great restaurant recommendations and her knowledge of the region, while she and Yann were welcoming, kind, and discreet. Fare Bambou is peaceful and decorated with real care. The homemade breakfasts are delicious, too good to hold back on. We came away with lovely memories and really want to return. A place to discover!
