I loved the cottage's setting for getting out into nature, and the large private patio with its table was a nice bonus. Inside, it had what I needed, including a comfortable bed, though it was a little small and came with blankets rather than a duvet. The shower was nice too.

The host is a friendly chap, and the cottage has a lot packed into it: a TV, microwave, stove, kettle, fridge and more. The bed is tiny, though there is a sofa in the sitting room that I imagine could be turned into a bed. Breakfast can be brought to your room for €15 per person. Bring your own shampoo, since none is provided. If you cook, you have to clean up afterwards, which makes me wonder why I choose places where I have to do that 😍. Maybe it's better not to cook.

The lodge was beautiful and had everything we needed. We were warmly welcomed, enjoyed a generous breakfast, and had an excellent stay. We'd gladly come back.
