The house is magnificent, and everything you need is there. The lady was charming and so attentive. Between the peaceful lake and the little chapel, it’s hard to imagine a more relaxing spot. A lovely stay with someone who makes the place feel full of soul.

We stayed for two nights for a calm, restful weekend, and our large dog was welcome too. He enjoyed the place as much as we did. There are several outdoor corners to unwind in, by the ponds or on the terrace overlooking the canal. We could enjoy everything at our own pace after a very warm welcome. The owner was incredible, the service impeccable, and breakfast was good. It’s a wonderful place for a stopover or a longer stay, surrounded by peace and nature. Hats off to her!

The grounds are magnificent, and the rooms are comfortable and well-equipped. Michelle looked after us so well. Breakfast was generous and varied, and our night at Les Étangs de Pitié was superb, though far too short. Michelle is incredible, and I highly recommend it. Search "Chapelle Notre Dame de Pitié".
