Breakfast was delicious, and the little house itself was really lovely. The owner was so friendly. She prepares dinner herself; we confirmed by email beforehand that we wanted to eat there, then went over the menu again when we arrived.

After a booking mix-up in Paris, we booked Le Colombier at the last minute, and were so glad we did. Megali made us feel at home straight away, with her warm, caring welcome and big smile. She cooked a lovely dinner, arranged a taxi to a Chateau for the next day, and suggested a nice forest walk. Our room was clean and beautiful, with plush towels and luxurious linen. The next day we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast with lots of homemade produce and pastries, then sat by the pool. There’s also a terrific pattisier just a five-minute walk away if you fancy something sweet.

The owner welcomed us warmly and helped with directions to the wedding we were attending. The place was stunning, very clean, and well presented. We’ll be going back.

The setting is peaceful, with beautiful, spacious grounds. We had a lovely dinner and a great breakfast, and the hostess was charming. The rooms were lovely too.
