Le Chateau D’Hardricourt

Hardricourt is lovely, with picturesque houses perched up on the hills. It makes for a beautiful wedding venue.

So nice 🤩

Chocotrail d'Hardricourt!! 😍

The lobster didn't arrive until we'd been there nearly two hours, which was the last straw. A little bread, cheese and a couple of pastries are nice, but at €99 per adult, they didn't make up for the missing main part of a lobster brunch. They eventually brought it with an apology, but by then we were tired. We went for the Mother's Day Lobster Brunch last year and this year. Last year's was fabulous, so this year's was a real disappointment. First they couldn't find my booking when we arrived, though they seated us anyway, perhaps because of a technical issue. Then a server asked if I'd paid even though I'd already shown her the payment and reservation confirmations. She brought over her manager, who asked me the same thing, right at the table while I was trying to make sure my wife enjoyed Mother's Day. Service was slow too. Asking for water or tea meant waiting about 20 minutes for the server to come back, then reminding them what we'd asked for. I don't know what changed since last year. The reservations seemed to have a technical issue, and the servers kept disappearing after we asked for something. Next year we're going somewhere else.
