ibis Le Havre Sud Harfleur

I had multiple bites on my arms and upper body when I left, and I'm certain the bed had bedbugs. The bed was extremely hard, more like a thin mattress on a solid base than a firm mattress. The toilet was so close to the wall that I couldn't sit on it and had to use the public toilet at the hotel. On the positive side, there was a bar, and the room looked clean at first glance. The bathroom was spotless, and the sheets and duvet cover were clean. I knew it was a budget hotel and hadn't expected much.

After spending one of our four nights at the Le Goéland apartment across the road, we moved our stay here. The hotel was so friendly, and the staff couldn't have done more for us. It felt really comforting, with a relaxed breakfast bar.

The beds were good, and the standard rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was okay, very French, with croissants and baguette. Dinner is just heated in the microwave. There's no air conditioning, but opening the window was enough. If you're fine eating somewhere else, it's a good place to stay.

The staff were very accommodating and nice, and breakfast was wonderful each morning. We also found the hotel centrally located and very clean, with great beds and pillows. We had a wonderful stay.
