A great host and a really good breakfast, in a super cute B&B up in the Vogese mountains. My room was spacious, tidy, and clean, with a great bathroom. The host mother was so kind and easy to talk to. Since I don't speak french, she even booked a table for me at the only restaurant in Haselbourg, which turned out to be good. Cyclists can store their bikes safely too.

The view from the highest point is fantastic, and the price is very fair, with breakfast at €5. There was a garage for my motorcycle, and the landlady spoke German, which made things easier. She also offered to book us a table for dinner. The accommodation is simple but very nice and clean. Breakfast was good for me, with delicious bread, juice, coffee, and jams, though there was no sausage or cheese, which could be a problem for others.

The owners were so welcoming and friendly, and we felt right at home in the cottage for our weekend. It was spotless and comfortable, with everything we needed. The spacious bathroom worked really well for a group. The bedding was decent, and I especially loved the fresh scent of the linens when it was time to go to bed. A place we’ll remember.

There are lots of lovely places to see nearby, and the surroundings here are so peaceful. We had a room overlooking the Northern Vosges Mountains, with its own shower and toilet. It was immaculate, and the bed felt hotel quality. The hostess greeted us with a warm smile and real kindness, and the owners were incredibly friendly. Breakfast was more than reasonable at €5. We’ll definitely return.

We stayed at Maison Heidi from August 5 to 8, 2022, and had a really nice experience. There were five of us. The rooms were clean, the bedding was good and clean, and we had a clean bathroom and toilet available. Breakfast was very good, with fresh products, and the room prices felt very reasonable, with no abuse. The hosts were available and responsive, and we had a good exchange, learning about each of our regions. There’s a pleasant family atmosphere, and you can also taste specialties if you wish. The place has lots of positive vibes, and the little cottage available to stay in is very cute. It all depends on what you’re looking for, but we felt comfortable there. The SCHREIBER in HASELBOURG was our favorite little restaurant for value for money, and we recommend going there. We attended the POW WOW (Native American) festival in Steinbourg and visited the fort of the Maginot Line, which is a must. There are little corners of Paradise to discover on walks, too. Gratitude and abundance. See you soon if we come back to the region. Best regards.
